Disneyland Resort

When Walt Disney opened Disneyland nearly 60 years ago, he envisioned it as a place where friends, family and loved ones of all ages could go together to enjoy themselves, and create memories that would last forever.  That philosophy is still alive and strong to this day at Disneyland, where you can walk in Walt's footsteps and soak in magical experiences around every turn.

With three themed resorts and a wide variety of delicious dining options, the Disneyland Resort is a perfect vacation destination to discover all of the magic of the original Disney theme park.

Disneyland

The original Magic Kingdom, Disneyland still contains rides and attractions that Walt Disney worked on personally.  "To all who come to this happy place, welcome," he said during the park's dedication in 1955, and that invitation still stands for you and your family.  Tour all eight of the park's meticulously themed lands, take a trip down the wild rivers of the world on the Jungle Cruise, and become a kid again as you embark on adventures with Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh and Pinocchio.

Then, as darkness falls over Disneyland, watch Mickey Mouse do battle the Disney Villains in the nighttime spectacular, Fantasmic, and watch in delight as the Remember...Dreams Come True fireworks display lights up the sky around Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Disney's California Adventure

The Golden State is the star at the second park at the Disneyland Resort.  Here you can walk Buena Vista Street, themed after the California scene that greeted Walt Disney upon his arrival in 1923, and roam the streets of Radiator Springs with Lightning McQueen, Mater and a host of other automotive acquaintances at Cars Land.

Then, to close your day at California Adventure, don't miss World of Color, as the magic of Disney movies comes to life on mist screens generated by over 1,000 fountains in the park's Paradise Bay.
